Northumberland Day 2018

Souvenir Programme and guide

WHAT IS NORTHUMBERLAND DAY?

Northumberland Day celebrates everything Northumbrian, past and present, from culture, heritage and arts and crafts, to food and drink, to sporting and community life.

The first-ever Northumberland Day took place on Sunday 28 May 2017 - a day set amidst a fortnight of events, activities and community celebrations organised by proud Northumbrians and adopted Northumbrians.

A huge variety of activities took place in locations across the whole of the county at over 60 individual events.

Northumberland Day 2018 will take place on Sunday May 27 2018, the day before the Northumberland County Show and will again be part of a fortnight of activities, events, celebrations and schools initiatives.

The hugely popular 'Northumbie' Awards for participating companies and organisations taking part will be offered again.

SOUVENIR PROGRAMME AND GUIDE

The Guide will be published about six weeks before the first event as an A5 booklet. It will contain event listings and locations, editorial on Northumbrian traditions and messages from prominent supporters.

You can advertise to your local customers and visitors to the county within the guide. Advertisements will be spread throughout the Guide and nearly all will face editorial or listings.

Your advertisement will also appear for six months on the official Northumberland Day website.

15,000 copies of the Guide will be printed and distributed through community channels, such as libraries and schools plus professional distribution in information racks in public places, supermarkets, tourist information points etc. If you would like more details on distribution, a list, provided by the distribution company is available - just get in touch and ask!
